Cheryl Maker and Jeffrey Roberts, both of Youngstown, exchanged nuptial vows Oct. 8 at St. James Meeting House in Boardman Park.

The Rev. Jay Eastman officiated at the 1:30 p.m. ceremony, which was followed by a reception at Antone’s Banquet Centre.

The bride is the daughter of John and Chris Maker of Lowellville. Parents of the groom are Harold and Kathy Roberts of Girard.

The bride wore a white strapless chiffon gown fashioned in an A-line style and featuring silver beading and embroidery.

Bridal attendants, dressed in chocolate-colored dresses, were Jennifer Schiraldi, matron of honor, and bridesmaids Jennifer Roman, Roxanne Nock, Elizabeth Pash and Renee Pregibon, cousin of the bride.

Steven Blazina was best man, and junior best man was Donovan Roberts, the groom’s son. Groomsmen were Robert Spatar, Marc Gillette, Brian Voitus and John Maker, the bride’s brother.

After completing a degree in radiology and exercise science through Youngstown State University and Jameson School of Radiology, the bride is a radiologic technologist at Akron General Medical Center in Akron.

The groom earned a degree in criminal justice at YSU and is employed with the city of Youngstown.
