Allison Miller and Andrew Mattson, both of Columbus, were united in marriage at 4 p.m. Sept. 10 at Trinity United Methodist Church.

The Rev. Rusty Wills officiated over the exchange of vows for the daughter of John and Beth Miller of Poland and the son of Connie Mattson of Boardman and Richard Mattson of Columbus.

The couple received congratulations at a reception in their honor at the Assumption Social Center.

The bride wore an ivory satin ball gown designed with a sweetheart neckline and embellished with crystal and pearl beading.

Attendants for the bride were dressed in claret-colored gowns. Natalee Colla was her maid of honor, and bridesmaids were Christy Leonard; Lindsay Smith, the bride’s cousin; and Melissa Mattson, the groom’s sister. Keagan Dunn, the bride’s cousin, was the flower girl.

Rick Mattson performed the duties of best man for his brother. Groomsmen were Chad Miller and Jacob Miller, brothers of the bride, and Kevin Johnson, the groom’s brother-in-law. Taylor Johnson, the groom’s nephew, was the ring bearer.

Mrs. Mattson is a graduate of Youngstown State University with a bachelor’s degree in exercise science. She completed a doctorate in physical therapy at Ohio State University and is a physical therapist at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus.

Mr. Mattson earned a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering at YSU and is attending the College of Dentistry at OSU.

The couple are making their home in Columbus.
