Easter Seals offers hot, nutritious meals weekdays in Columbiana and Mahoning counties for people 60 or older and their spouses (regardless of age). Reservations are required three days in advance. A $2 donation is suggested per meal.

Call 330-884-2513 to make reservations, for serving locations or to arrange for home-delivered meals for seniors who are homebound.

Transportation is available by calling 330-884-2511. The program office is located at 29 Edwards St., Youngstown.

COLUMBIANA COUNTY

Wednesday, Dec. 21: Jumbo hot dog on a bun, baked beans, carrots, chocolate cake or angel food cake, apple juice and milk.

Thursday, Dec. 22: Turkey with gravy, stuffing, mashed potatoes, mixed vegetables, wheat bread, fresh orange and milk.

Friday, Dec. 23: Breaded fish with tartar sauce, macaroni and cheese, brussels sprouts wheat bread, unsweetened pineapple, grape juice and milk.

Saturday, Dec. 24: Roast beef on a bun with Swiss cheese, mustard and mayonnaise, carrots with ranch dressing, fresh orange, apple juice and milk.

Monday, Dec. 26: Closed.

Tuesday, Dec. 27: Closed.

MAHONING COUNTY

Wednesday, Dec. 21: Honey-Dijon chicken, red-skinned potatoes, oriental vegetables, unsweetened pears, bread, banana roll or sugar-free cookie, and milk.

Thursday, Dec. 22: Pulled pork on a bun, collard greens, sweet potato, unsweetened peaches, gelatin, fresh apple and milk.

Friday, Dec. 23: Lasagna stacker with sauce, spinach, yellow squash, unsweetened applesauce, banana muffin, grape juice and milk.

Saturday, Dec. 24: Chicken breast on a bun, romaine salad, bean-corn salad, fresh banana, orange cookie or sugar-free cookie, and milk.

Monday, Dec. 26: Closed.

Tuesday, Dec. 27: Closed.

TRUMBULL COUNTY

The Trumbull County Office of Elderly Affairs offers well-balanced meals at 12 locations in Trumbull County for people 60 or older or whose spouse is 60 or over. Reservations must be made two working days in advance. There is no income requirement. The suggested donation is $1.50 per meal.
