Party celebrates 50th milestone for Scheetzes

YOUNGSTOWN

Earl and Agnes Ann Scheetz of Youngstown were honored Nov. 19 at St. Christine Church on the occasion of their 50th wedding anniversary.

The couple renewed their marriage vows at the 4 p.m. Mass, and a party hosted by their children followed in the parish hall.

Mr. Scheetz and the former Agnes Ann Shina were married Nov. 18, 1961, at St. Dominic Church.

The couple’s children are Bill (Ursula) Scheetz of North Lima; Chris (Stacy) Scheetz of Berlin Center; Shawn (Sharyn) Scheetz of Boardman; and Earl (Connie) Scheetz of Lake Tahoe, Nev. Nine grandchildren complete the family.

Mrs. Scheetz is retired as the former owner/operator of Unique Boutique.

Mr. Scheetz is retired from Compco Metals. He served in the National Guard from 1955 to 1964.
