AUXILIARIES

Auxiliary to VFW Post 6488, 2065 Coitsville-Hubbard Road, will meet at 4 p.m. Sunday at the post home. Sandy Graves will preside, and those attending are asked to take a $10 unwrapped gift for a child. Dues are now payable.

Girard High School Athletic Boosters will meet at 8 p.m. Wednesday at the high school cafeteria.

CLASSES

South High School Class of 1953 will meet for a Christmas party at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at Johnny’s on Market Street in Boardman. There will be a $10 unisex gift exchange, and door prizes will be awarded. Those attending will order from the menu. All classmates are welcome.

CLUBS

Chapter CE of PEO Sisterhood will meet Wednesday at A La Cart Catering in Canfield for a noon luncheon and meeting. Speaker will be the Rev. Kathryn Adams, whose program is titled “A Christmas Story.” Hostesses will be Laura Reed and Barb Hall.

McDonald Arts and Crafts Club will meet at 7:30 p.m. Monday in the community room at the post office building.

Newcomers Club will meet for their annual Christmas luncheon Wednesday at Springfield Grill, 7413 Tiffany Blvd, Boardman. For reservations call 330-533-4104. New members are welcome.

Reformers Unanimous, a national Christ-centered addictions program headquartered in Rockford, Ill., meets from 7 to 9 p.m. Fridays at Glenwood Christian Fellowship, 7872 Glenwood Ave., Boardman. The program is open to all adults who struggle with an addiction or a stubborn habit.

Supporting My Sister, a group of women who are either going through or have gone through menopause offering support and information, meets the third and fourth Mondays each month. UPMC Horizon has scheduled the following support group meetings: Monday, bereavement at 7 p.m. at the Greenville, Pa., campus; and Tuesday, cancer at 1 p.m. at Shenango Valley campus, and weight loss surgery at 6 p.m. at the Womancare Center, 875 N. Hermitage Road, Hermitage, Pa.

Youngstown Area PFLAG will meet for a potluck dinner from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the Stonewall Center, 1523 Poland Ave., Youngstown. All members of the LGBT community and their advocates are welcome.
