Lauren Jessica Hake and G. Nathan Roman, both of Canfield, were married Nov. 11 at Girard Methodist Church. The Rev. Betsy Schenk officiated at the 3:30 p.m. ceremony for the daughter of Russell and Judy Hake of Mineral Ridge and the son of George III and Debra Roman of Canfield.

The couple received congratulations at a reception in their honor at the Davis Center in Fellows Riverside Gardens in Youngstown.

The bride wore an ivory gown featuring a single shoulder neckline and a dropped waist.

Bridal attendants were attired in black dresses, and included the bride’s sister-in-law, Angelina Hake, as the matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Erica Hurd, Carla Simeone and Stephanie DeCesare. The flower girl was Lee Hake, the bride’s niece.

Christopher Roman served as best man for his brother. Groomsmen were Patrick Fitzgerald, the groom’s brother-in-law, and Russ and Andrew Hake, brothers of the bride. Luke Roman, the groom’s son, was the ring bearer.

The bride graduated from Youngstown State University with a degree in early childhood education. She is a first-grade teacher with the Liberty School District in Liberty.

The groom earned a degree in marketing and international business from Bowling Green State University. He is a private wealth adviser at Ameriprise Financial in Canfield.

After a wedding trip to New York City, the couple live in Canfield.
