Dennis Ray arrested on South Side

YOUNGSTOWN — Police authorities today arrested Dennis Ray, 50, of Youngstown, who was involved in a standoff on the East Side and subsequent manhunt Wednesday, at a South Side home.

Ray, came out of an East Dewey Avenuehome smoking a cigarette, and surrendered to SWAT team members at 4:10 p.m.

Ray disrupted peace and quiet on an East Side neighborhood early Wednesday by indiscriminately firing gunshots near homes.
