Police: Woman stole with stroller

UPPER DARBY, Pa.

Police in suburban Philadelphia said the mother of a 3-year-old was pushing her child up and down the aisles of a store while stealing merchandise to sell for scrap.

Candace MacNamee, 26, of Clifton Heights was arrested Dec. 7 at a Home Depot store. Police say she took nearly $250 in brass fittings, chains, bolts and other metal items while pushing her daughter’s stroller.

Authorities say the child was picked up by her grandmother after MacNamee’s arrest.
