Greenford Ruritans elect new officers

GREENFORD

Greenford Ruritan Club met Nov. 28 at South Range Schools Complex with President Rob White in charge and the Green Township Fire Department Auxiliary serving dinner.

Nomination and election of officers took place.

New officers for 2012 are Chad Less, president; Zach May, vice president; Jack Velk, secretary; Denny Hawk, treasurer; and Carl Robb, three-year director.

Members of the South Range High School speech team gave presentations. They were Noel Pellegrini, Hogan Russell and Emily Erb. Their adviser, Daniel Pappalardo, also attended.

The club provides funding for speech team trophies each year.

The club will sponsor a blood drive at Greenford Christian Church from 2:30 to 6:30 p.m. today.
