Alexis Nicole Kollay of Boardman and Alexander Scott D’Ettorre of Upper Sandusky, Ohio, were married Oct. 1 at The Fieldcrest of North Canton. The ceremony took place in the presence of the Rev. Duane Kemerley of Pandora United Methodist Church. The couple’s reception followed at the same location.

The bride is the daughter of Sheryl Ligotti of Boardman and Robert and Judith Kollay of Canfield. The groom’s parents are Joseph and Erin D’Ettorre of Upper Sandusky.

The bride’s satin A-line gown featured a single shoulder strap, alternating diagonal pleats, pickup points in the skirt and beaded embellishments.

Attending the bride as matrons of honor were Lindsey Chisholm and Christy Townsend. The bridesmaids were Theresa D’Ettorre, the groom’s sister; Cameron Bell; Jessica Towslee; Sarah Hooper; Amanda Kuznicki; Amanda Shedron; and Sarah Cantrell Perkins. Junior bridesmaids were Hailey and Kaelyn Oakes, cousins of the bride. The flower girl was Abby Oakes, also a cousin of the bride. Each attendant was dressed in a uniquely styled navy satin gown.

Serving as best man was Craig Loose. The groomsmen were Vincent and Nick D’Ettorre, brothers of the groom; Robert Kollay Jr., the bride’s brother; Tony McLaughlin, the groom’s cousin; and Tim Gribble, Johnnie Lewis and Eric Small. Adam Kollay, the bride’s brother, served as junior groomsman. The ring bearer was Landon Dunbar, the bride’s cousin.

The bride earned a bachelor’s degree at Bowling Green State University and a master’s degree in higher education administration from North Carolina University. She is the assistant director of education and leadership initiatives at Alpha Chi Omega Sorority in Indianapolis.

The groom earned a degree in business administration and entrepreneurship from Bowling Green. He is employed by Charles Schwab in Indianapolis.

After a wedding trip to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, the couple live in Indianapolis.
