2-year-old Pa. boy hanged in makeshift curtain

PITTSBURGH (AP) — Pittsburgh police and the Allegheny County Medical Examiner are investigating the death of a 2-year-old boy found hanged in a blanket that was being used as a makeshift curtain.

Lorenzo Donaldson was pronounced dead at a hospital after police say the boy was found hanging from the blanket about 6:30 p.m. Sunday. Police say the boy’s 3-year-old sister found him and alerted their mother, who called 911.

Police are still investigating to determine whether any criminal charges will be filed.

A police commander and deputy medical examiners were not immediately available for comment today.
