Austintown Senior Center, 100 Westchester Drive, has planned the following: Monday, Walking Club at 9 a.m., blood pressure checks and painting class ($5) at 9:30, bingo at 10, lunch, Ask the Social Worker and Wellness Monday with flu shots at 11:30 and intermediate computer at noon; Tuesday, computer practice and East Garden Club meeting at 9:30 a.m., Vets Helping Vets at 10, Zumba at 10:30, lunch at 11:30 and bingo at noon; Wednesday, Walking Club at 9 a.m., bingo at 10 and lunch at 11:30; Thursday, closed during the day, doors open at 4 p.m. for senior Christmas party with dinner to be served at 5 p.m., tickets on sale now; and Friday, Walking Club at 9 a.m., bingo and discussion group at 10, lunch at 11:30, and beginner’s computer and jewelry making ($5) for Christmas bracelets at noon. Senior Independence Senior Center of Mahoning County, 1110 Fifth Ave., Youngstown, has planned the following: Monday, men’s and women’s Needlecraft Club at 8:30 a.m. and bridge and movie matinee at 1 p.m.; Tuesday, oil painting at 10 a.m., computer class at 10 and noon, Visit Kraynak’s from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., bridge for beginners and exercises at noon, and digital class and bingo at 2 p.m.; Wednesday, watercolor class at 10 a.m., tap class at noon and tai chi at 1 p.m.; Thursday, Watch Our Weight and woodcarvers at 9 a.m., Boardman Fun Day and Sebring Fun Day at 10, exercise at noon, line dancing at 1 p.m. and beginner line dancing at 2 p.m.; Friday, Wii bowling at 10 a.m., card games at noon and cornhole at 2 p.m.; and Saturday, Holiday Craft Show and Bake Sale, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
