Easter Seals offers hot, nutritious meals weekdays in Columbiana and Mahoning counties for people 60 or older and their spouses (regardless of age). Reservations are required three days in advance. A $2 donation is suggested per meal. Call 330-884-2513 to make reservations, for serving locations or to arrange for home-delivered meals for seniors who are homebound. Transportation is available by calling 330-884-2511. The program office is located at 299 Edwards St., Youngstown.

COLUMBIANA COUNTY

Wednesday, Dec. 14: Tossed salad, tuna salad, three-bean salad, unsweetened peaches, wheat bread and milk.

Thursday, Dec. 15: Chicken patty on a bun with mayo, green beans, cauliflower, fresh orange and milk.

Friday, Dec. 16: Beef stew, rice, yellow beans, corn muffin, unsweetened pears and milk.

Saturday, Dec. 17: Ham and swiss cheese on a bun, with mustard/mayo fruit cup, potato salad, orange juice and milk.

Monday, Dec. 19: Stuffed pepper with sauce and mashed potatoes, corn O’Brien, wheat bread, unsweetened fruit and milk.

Tuesday, Dec. 20: Barbecue pork on a bun, scalloped potatoes, spinach, fresh apple, vinegar packet and milk.

MAHONING COUNTY

Friday, Dec. 16: Pork loin with gravy, potato, oriental veggies, unsweetened applesauce, bread with honey, angel food cake and milk.

Saturday, Dec. 17: Ham, two slices of bread, tossed salad, raisin salad, fresh orange, regular or sugar-free cookie and milk.

Monday, Dec. 19: Barbecue chicken strips, winter veggies, carrots, unsweetened pears, chocolate cupcake, sponge cake and milk.

Tuesday, Dec. 20: Flame beef patty on a bun, green beans, potatoes, unsweetened applesauce, grape juice and milk.

TRUMBULL COUNTY

The Trumbull County Office of Elderly Affairs offers well-balanced meals at 12 locations in Trumbull County for people 60 or older or whose spouse is 60 or over. Reservations must be made two working days in advance. There is no income requirement. The suggested donation is $1.50 per meal.
