Ministerial alliance accepting nominations for Rev. Elizabeth Powell Award

YOUNGSTOWN — The Interdenominational Ministerial Alliance is accepting nominations for the Rev. Elizabeth Powell Heritage Award.

The candidate or organization submitted should fit any of the following criteria: champion of humans rights/dignity, work for the betterment of the Mahoning Valley, advocate for social justice, a selfless act of denial or promoter of community empowerment.

Past recipients are the H.H. Pincham family, Joel Imler and the Rev. Lonnie K. A. Simon.
