Justice gives $10M to Cleveland Clinic

CLEVELAND
A West Virginia man who made his money in mining and farming is giving $10 million for the Cleveland Clinic’s work developing new products.
James Justice and his wife, Cathy, are directing the money to the health system’s innovations unit. Justice tells The Plain Dealer the people there are going to help change the world, and he wants to be a part of it.
Cleveland Clinic Innovations Chairman Thomas Graham is a friend of Justice and is kicking in his own $1 million gift, for a total donation of $11 million.
Graham introduced himself to Justice at The Greenbrier, the historic resort in West Virginia.
Justice took the place over in 2009, and Graham says his friend was like Santa Claus for the way he turned it around.
