Cleveland State 62, Robert Morris 58

Tre Harmon tied his career-high with 24 points and Cleveland State capped its seven game road trip with a win over Robert Morris (7-3). CSU (9-1) went 6-1 on the road trip. Harmon hit 7-of-13 from the field and 4-of-8 from three point to equal his career-high set last season against UIC. Jeremy Montgomery added 10 points and Aaron Pogue scored nine. CSU did not make a field goal in the final 9:43, but hit 9-of-10 free throws to maintain the lead. Tim Kamczyc hit 5-of-6 in the final minute and also came up with a key defensive rebound down the stretch. The five free throws constituted all the scoring for Kamczyc. The Vikings finished 23-of-29 (.793) at the free throw line. Velton Jones and Coron Williams each scored 18 points to lead the Colonials, who cut their deficit to one, 57-56, with 56 seconds left. D’Aundray Brown (Ursuline) battled foul trouble, scoring six points in just 19 minutes for the Vikings.

Detroit 92, Western Michigan 81

DETROIT

Eli Holman scored 21 points and Chase Simon 20 to pace Detroit. Ray McCallum had 14 points and six assists for the Titans (5-6), who won their second in a row. Jason Calliste added 12 points. The Broncos (1-7) got 33 points from Mike Douglas, including 13 of 14 free throws. Demetrius Ward scored 19, Nate Hutcheson 11 and Flenard Whitfield 10. The Titans, who shot 53.2 percent (33 of 62), used an 18-2 run to forge a 36-12 lead with 8:54 left in the first half. Detroit reached 50 points in less than 16 minutes when Holman hit a jumper for a 50-26 lead with 4:08 to go in the first half. The Titans led 61-39 at the break. Western Michigan scored the first seven points of the second half but got no closer than nine.
