$2 million grant for the Chamber and four other groups

YOUNGSTOWN

Team Northeast Ohio, a JobsOhio network partner, announced today a $2 million grant for the Youngstown/Warren Regional Chamber and four other regional economic organizations.

The chamber, Greater Cleveland Partnership, Team Lorain County, Stark Development Board and Greater Akron Chamber will use the funds to begin a regionwide retention and expansion project for the region.

The project will include a shared services platform, additional staff and contractors and subregional strategies to combine statewide assistance with local and regional resources.

The funds come from a $4.1 million grant from The Ohio Third Frontier Commission.
