Heather Marie Shaw and Wayne Brusseau, both of Brooklyn, N.Y., were united in marriage June 5 at the Club of Hillbrook.
The Rev. Robert Turner officiated at the 4 p.m. ceremony, which was followed by a formal dinner at the same location.
The bride is the daughter of Thomas Shaw of Warren and Rose McIntyre, also of Warren. Parents of the groom are Heidi and Chad Squires of Laconia, N.H., and Frederick and Joyce Brusseau of Christiansburg, Va.
Attired in a blush-colored dress, Monica Rossi served as the honor attendant for her sister, and Courtney Shaw, another sister, was the bridesmaid. Maize Arnold filled the role of flower girl.
Roger Demers performed the duties of best man. Groomsmen were Wesley Brusseau, brother of the groom, and Keith Arnold. Ushers were Brent Brusseau and Brandon Brusseau, brothers of the groom. Ring bearer was Brady Marrone.
The bride graduated from Youngstown State University with a degree in journalism. She is pursuing a second degree in food and nutrition sciences at Brooklyn College.
Mr. Brusseau earned a bachelor’s degree in theater from the University of New Hampshire and attends Columbia University, pursuing a master’s degree. He is a stagehand in New York .
The couple are making their home in Brooklyn.
