A honeymoon in Jamaica followed the Sept. 10 wedding that joined Kristy L. Marapese and Gregory J. Gustovich, both of Austintown, in an afternoon ceremony at St. Rose Church.
The daughter of Ben and Tammy Marapese of Struthers and the son of Mark and Ginny Gustovich of McDonald received congratulations at a reception afterward at Mr. Anthony’s in Boardman.
The couple are both Thiel College graduates. She earned a degree in sociology and criminal justice and is a caseworker for Mahoning County Children Services Board in Youngstown.
He earned a degree in history and is a sales representative for LeRoy’s Jewelers in Niles.
The bride’s attendants wore eggplant-colored gowns. Teri Mundy was matron of honor, and bridesmaids were Gina Bianco, cousin of the groom; Kourtney Marapese, sister-in-law of the bride; and Tracy Gue, Catherine Cercone, Sarah Murphy, Sarah Matson and Stephanie Siko. Serving as the flower girl was Alisa Telega, the bride’s cousin and goddaughter.
Matthew Gustovich served as his brother’s best man, and groomsmen were Mike Marapese, brother of the bride; Jimmy Franceschelli, cousin of the bride; and Randy Riccitelli, Josh Conkey, Ryan Witkoski, Mike Llewellyn and Travis Matson. The bride’s cousin Anthony Telega participated as the ring bearer.
