A summary of recent criminal activity in Hubbard, Liberty and Girard:
HUBBARD
Nov. 21
Possible burglary: Police made an arrest after receiving information that a suspicious person was roaming around a home in the 50 block of West Park Avenue.
Theft: A man reported checks stolen from his Youngstown-Hubbard Road apartment.
Theft: A woman reported the theft of a ring from her grandmother’s home in the 500 block of Grace Street.
Nov. 22
Theft: A bicycle was stolen in the 200 block of North Main Street.
Nov. 23
Theft: A Caroline Avenue man noticed items were removed from his vehicle.
Theft: A Taylor Avenue woman accused her boyfriend of stealing and pawning some of her property.
Nov. 26
Recovered property: A man’s identification card was found at a North Main Street restaurant.
Stolen property: Officers arrested a man after a North Main Street couple told them the man had stolen their bicycle.
Nov. 27
Criminal mischief: Eggs were tossed at a car on Youngstown-Hubbard Road.
GIRARD
Nov. 23
Criminal mischief: Eggs were thrown on the roof, driveway and front of a Lease Court residence.
Robbery: A woman and her son told police two males wearing ski masks robbed the boy in the 100 block of East Second Street by forcibly removing two gold chains from his neck and leaving the area on foot.
Nov. 24
Domestic violence: A Girard boy was charged with the crime after two siblings and his mother alleged the boy had pushed, kicked or shoved them during an argument.
Harassment: A Townsend Avenue man said his former girlfriend has been making numerous unwanted calls to him.
Nov. 25
Assault: A woman told officers her former boyfriend closed a door on her foot and pushed her when she went to his Idaho Avenue home to retrieve personal property.
Theft: Rims, two lawnmower engines, bed rails and other items were stolen from a vehicle in the 200 block of North State Street.
Theft: A car stereo and an MP3 player were removed from a vehicle in the 400 block of East Prospect Street.
Nov. 26
Assault: Police responded to a fight on Louis Circle in which three people reported having been assaulted.
Burglary: To a residence in the 200 block of Louis Circle. Among items stolen were money, a Wii system and related games, a Sony PlayStation 3 system and a digital camera, for an estimated $1,000 loss.
Criminal mischief: Two Crumlin Avenue residents reported two people tossed eggs at their residence.
Nov. 27
Trespassing: An East Kline Street couple told police they arrived home to discover an open rear door and muddy footprints near the kitchen. Their dog apparently scared the intruder, a report showed.
Assault: A woman on East Prospect Street told officers another woman struck and pushed the accuser during a possible custody dispute.
Harassment: An Illinois Avenue woman said she’s received a few months’ worth of harassing and threatening calls.
Criminal mischief: Police got a report that someone in a sport-utility vehicle had driven through and damaged a fence near North Highland Avenue.

Harassment: An Abbey Street woman reported a man made threatening calls against her husband.
LIBERTY
Nov. 24
Arrest: Officers picked up 27-year-old Ama-Efura Dodson at the Mahoning County jail. Dodson, no address listed, was wanted by township authorities on a charge of failure to appear in court.
Theft: A woman reported her wallet missing while at a Belmont Avenue restaurant, then learned her credit card was used in Austintown to make a $320 unauthorized purchase.
Nov. 25
Robbery: Police apprehended 19-year-old Lawaun N. West, 1503 Ford Ave., Youngstown, and charged him with aggravated robbery and obstructing official business after an employee with Little Caesar’s Pizza, 3551 Belmont Ave., reported two gunmen demanded money and fled on foot with an undisclosed amount. West also tried to elude police on a bicycle before confessing the crime, and the second man remains at large, a report showed.
Arrest: Youngstown police handed 42-year-old Tamara L. Brown to township authorities. Brown, of 160 W. Evergreen Ave., Youngstown, was accused of failing to appear in court on charges of theft and receiving stolen property.
Nov. 26
Breaking and entering: A Monticello Boulevard woman discovered a break-in and an $800 touch-screen phone missing.
Arrest: Youngstown police apprehended 30-year-old Bernita Carter, 191 Evergreen Ave., Youngstown, who was wanted on a township warrant accusing her of failing to appear in court.
Assault/criminal damaging: A Youngstown woman told police that while driving near Hadley Road, an agitated 16-year-old McDonald boy kicked and damaged her windshield, then kicked another passenger’s face.
Nov. 27
Felonious assault: Two Youngstown boys, 15 and 16, faced charges of felonious assault and domestic violence, respectively, after a situation between the two brothers at a Trumbull Court residence. The older boy reported having been punched in the mouth; the 15-year-old alleged his brother came after him with a serrated kitchen knife.
Domestic violence: Charges of domestic violence and criminal trespassing were pending against a 34-year-old Niles man after a Richards Drive woman told police she awoke to find him in her bedroom. The man also threatened to stab and kill her, the accuser alleged.
Arrest: Jennifer L. Carroll, 29, of Mesa, Ariz., was charged with disorderly conduct while intoxicated and obstructing official business after police received information about an intoxicated woman having wandered into a wooded area near Belmont Avenue. Authorities found Carroll lying near a creek, and she refused to provide personal information except her name, a report said.
Assault: Police responded to a fight between two women in the 500 block of Murray Hill Drive in which one woman suffered an injury to the right side of her face.
Aggravated menacing: A Euclid Boulevard man alleged his stepson, 21, arrived with a baseball bat, made threats and motioned as though he had a firearm.
Nov. 28
Theft: Both license plates were removed from a vehicle in the 4700 block of Belmont Avenue.
Theft: A North Gate Road woman reported $682 stolen from her home.
Breaking and entering: Someone entered a fenced-in area at Quality Auto Body, 11 Belgrade Ave., and took a drain grate, six aluminum radiators and other property.
