LOUIE MONDAY: Export of American jobs; local leaf collection; busing to Eastwood Mall

Civil defense attorney James Otto will join Louie, Vindy.com's news radio partner, on Mondahy's show. Otto asks the question, "Where Have All The Jobs Gone?" The shameful truth, he says, is they are still here. Behind Americans' backs corporations are betraying the American Dream by hiring 2 million workers per year from foreign countries.

Those discriminatory actions now practiced by U.S. employers spurred Otto’s pioneering lawsuit, Beasley v. Molina Healthcare Inc., filed in Long Beach, California. Molina and Cognizant Technology replaced 225 highly trained American workers with foreign workers. The suit alleges the company falsely swore to the U.S. Department of Labor that it was not replacing any U.S. worker by bringing in more than 500 foreign workers.

Also, Jenna Jones of Youngstown Litter Control and Recycling will give a report on the fifth annual leaf collection drive and talk about her recent trip to New Orleans for the Keep America Beautiful conference.

Then WRTA's Jim Ferraro will update us on the Warren run and access for riders to Eastwood Mall.
