Family honors Hrinaks’ 70th anniversary

Nicolinni’s Restaurant in Boardman was the setting for a dinner Nov. 20 honoring John and Lucille Hrinak of Struthers on the occasion of their 70th wedding anniversary.
Hosting the event were the couple’s children: Barbara Orenic of Boardman, and Jack (Sandi) Hrinak of Medina, Ohio. The couple have two grandchildren: Michele Bonamase and Christine Ward, and two great-grandchildren: Nicolette Bonamase and Brittany Ward. A great-grandson, Brandon Bonamase, is deceased.
Mrs. Hrinak, the former Lucille Marinelli, and Mr. Hrinak were married Nov. 20, 1941, at St. Dominic Church in Youngstown.
Mrs. Hrinak retired in 1975 from Almart Dept. Store as a receiving clerk. She is a member of Holy Family Senior Citizens and AARP.
Mr. Hrinak is a graduate of Youngstown State University. He retired in 1983 as a factory representative with Master Addresser Co. of Minneapolis. He is a member of VFW Post 3538 and AARP.
Mr. Hrinak served with the U.S. Army as a master sergeant in the XVIII Airborne Corps in the European Theater during World War II.
The couple are members of Christ Our Savior Parish-St. Nicholas Church.
