Chris Davis, who led the OAC in scoring and rebounding a year, picked up right where he left off as he had a double-double with 29 points and 11 rebounds to pace Otterbein (2-3, 1-0 OAC). Mount Union (3-3, 0-1 OAC) senior Jimmy Wood matched his season-high with 29 points. Freshman Nate Jacubec (Struthers) had 12 points.

HIRAM
After Case Western (4-2) missed two free throws with 11 seconds left, the Terriers had a chance to tie but a shot at the top of the key rimmed out at the buzzer. The Spartans were led by David Thompson with 21 points. Hiram (2-3) was led by Jamaal Watkins’ career-high 31 points and 10 rebounds.
