Sophomore guard Ben Donlow (Poland) posted game highs of 29 points and 11 rebounds to help Westminster (2-4, 1-1 Presidents’ Athletic Conference) snap a four-game losing streak. Lou Galante came off the bench to lead Waynesburg (2-5, 0-2) with 17 points.

Chris Davis, who led the OAC in scoring and rebounding a year, picked up right where he left off as he had a double-double with 29 points and 11 rebounds to pace Otterbein (2-3, 1-0 OAC). Mount Union (3-3, 0-1 OAC) senior Jimmy Wood matched his season-high with 29 points. Freshman Nate Jacubec (Struthers) had 12 points.

Case Western Reserve 80, Hiram 78

HIRAM

After Case Western (4-2) missed two free throws with 11 seconds left, the Terriers had a chance to tie but a shot at the top of the key rimmed out at the buzzer. The Spartans were led by David Thompson with 21 points. Hiram (2-3) was led by Jamaal Watkins’ career-high 31 points and 10 rebounds.

Kenny Kornowski scored 36 points and L.J. Sutton (Mooney) had 11 points and seven rebounds for Walsh (5-1).

Tabatha Piper scored a game-high 14 points to lead the Cardinals (6-0), who erased a seven-point Mount Union lead in the second half. Rosa LaMattina had 12 points and Tierney Allen 11 for Mount Union (5-1), which had won 13 straight regular season games.
