Poland boys basketball tickets on sale
The Poland High School athletic department will be selling reserved seats for boys basketball starting Monday, beginning at 8 a.m. Good seats remain open to the public. Stop in the athletic office if you have any questions regarding season tickets.
Boys basketball games rescheduled
The Poland boys basketball team will begin its regular season Dec. 9 against LaBrae at home. The game between Poland and Girard Dec. 6 has been rescheduled for Feb. 24 at Girard. The JV game starts at 6 p.m., followed by the varsity contest.
YSU basketball season tickets on sale
Season tickets for the Youngstown State men’s and women’s basketball season are on sale now. Fans can purchase reserved-seat season tickets through Penguin Club Membership at $140 or through the Penguin Package of $160, which includes all men’s and women’s games.
The ticket office also announced individual game tickets are already on sale.
Prices for individual reserved seats are $12 prior to game day and $14 on game day. General admission individual ticket prices are $8 prior to game day and $10 on game day.
Poland’s Luke Wollet on third team for Kent
Kent State sophomore safety Luke Wollet of Poland was named to the All-Mid-American Conference third team Wednesday. With Wollet, the Golden Flashes landed five defensive players on the All-MAC team for the first time since 1974. Wollet is tied for the MAC lead in interceptions with four, which ranks tied for 27th in the nation. He made 65 tackles, including 4.0 TFL and recovered two fumbles.
