Paula J. Carson and Andrew M. Chovan were united in marriage Sept. 10 at St. James Meeting House in Boardman Park. The Rev. Robert DeZee officiated at the ceremony for the daughter of Paul and Patricia Loswego of Austintown, and the son of Maryann Chovan of Warren and the late William Chovan. A reception followed at Willow Creek Hall in Girard.

Attending the bride were Lori Babik, matron of honor, and Rebecca Conner, bridesmaid. The bride’s daughters also fulfilled roles in the bridal party: Hevynn Carson was a junior bridesmaid, and Hannah Carson was the flower girl.

Brandon Chovan, the groom’s son, performed the duties of best man. Groomsmen were Jacob Chovan, the groom’s son, and Seth Fletcher.

The bride is a telecommunicator at Trumbull County 911.

The groom is a police officer with Cortland City Police Department.

The couple make their home in McDonald.
