Free movie about Yogi Bear

CORTLAND

Trumbull Soil and Water Conservation District kicks off its 2011-2012 Trumbull SWCD Movie Night series with the free movie about the animated character Yogi Bear.

It will be 6:30 p.m. Friday at the Trumbull County Agriculture and Family Education Center, 520 W. Main St.

In the movie, the park is in danger of closing due to lack of visitors.

It’s a PG-rated family movie that runs 82 minutes.

Trumbull SWCD is trying to raise awareness about the importance of getting children outside for recreation. Information on local parks and wildlife, including Ohio’s bears, will be available at the event.
