UUYO to have dinner for winter solstice

YOUNGSTOWN

First Unitarian Universalist Church, 1105 Elm St., will serve its Winter Solstice Dinner on Dec. 15.

Chef Adam Lee, who specializes in fresh, local food, is planning the six-course gourmet dinner and fundraiser. Doors open at 6, and dinner will be served at 7 p.m. Mezzosoprano Elsa Higby will sing, and readings will celebrate the solstice.

The cost is $35 per person or $50 per person with wine pairing. Vegetarian entr es are available with prior reservation.
