Sekacz cake orders are being taken

YOUNGSTOWN

The Krakowiaki Polish Folk Circle is taking orders for the unique sekacz cake, sometimes called a tree cake.

Costs are $12 for a 4-inch cake and $18 for the 8-inch, approximately one-pound, cake. Only preordered and prepaid sales are being accepted.

Orders will be ready for pickup Thursday during Polish Happy Hour at the Arms Family Museum and Dec. 13 during Polish lessons at St. Casimir Church. All proceeds will benefit the Krakowiaki Polish Folk Circle costume fund.
