‘Columbiana’s Christmas’ returns with a few surprises

COLUMBIANA

Crown Theater Productions will present “Finding Columbiana’s Christmas” this weekend at Main Street Theater.

The family friendly show, written by Jim and Lynette Couchenour, mixes live music, drama and video to tell the timeless tale of Christmas in a unique way.

“We had a great response the last time we presented ‘Finding Columbiana’s Christmas’,” said Jim Couchenour, producer and director, adding “We’ve also added some new surprises that will make this production even bigger and better.”

The cast includes: Dan Haueter, Eric Offenburg, Chip Richter, Chloe Housteau, Olivia Sukosd, Jim Couchenour, Bridget McKenzie, Kerry Oliver and Steve Hopper. There also will be cameo appearances from local residents, political leaders and students from Joshua Dixon Elementary School.

Showtimes are 7:30 p.m. Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Theatergoers are asked to bring a toy to the theater, which will be given to underprivileged children through the Way Station. For more information go tocrowntheaterproductions.org.
