Blair Rozenblad (Kennedy Catholic) scored 16 points to become the ninth Tomcat to score 1,000 points. Rozenblad also had 12 rebounds to help Thiel (3-2, 1-0 Presidents’ Athletic Conference). The win was Thiel’s sixth-straight over Waynesburg (2-4, 0-1), dating back to a Yellow Jacket 105-104 win in Greenville on Dec. 3, 2008.

Dennis Bassich led Saint Vincent (5-1, 1-0 PAC) with 25 points. Junior guard Anthony Thomas scored 20 points for Westminster (1-4, 0-1) and Ben Donlow (Poland) had six points and seven rebounds.

Bethany 67, Grove City 63

GROVE CITY, PA.

Nick Wilcox led Bethany (5-0, 1-0 PAC) with 20 points and 10 rebounds. Brady Pacific added 15 points. Freshman guard Marmelstein led all scorers with a career-high 24 points, including four 3-pointers, for Grove City.

Phil Feinberg scored 14 points with 11 rebounds to pace Thomas More. For Geneva (1-5, 0-1), Matt Lorello had 22 points.

Larry Farmer scored 18 points and had 14 rebounds to lead Denison (3-3, 1-0) in a North Coast Athletic Conference game. Aaron Stefanov scored 15 points to pace Hiram (2-2, 0-1). Louis Fatimus (Youngstown Christian) finished with two points and two assists for the Terriers.

WOMEN

Thomas More 82, Geneva 44

BEAVER FALLS, PA.

Moriah Corey had 17 points and nine rebounds to lead Thomas More in a Presidents’ Athletic Conference game. Katie Kees added 14 points and eight rebounds for Thomas More, which lead 38-19 at halftime. Chelsea D’Urso led Geneva with 19 points.

Bethany 79, Grove City 67

GROVE CITY, PA.

Katelynn Hackathorn had 18 points and 11 rebounds to lead Bethany (2-3, 1-0 PAC). Anne Wilson added 14 points and six assists. Leah Gibson scored 18 points and Megan Gebrosky added 13 points and four assists for Grove City (1-4, 0-1).

Brittany Sedlock scored 20 points and had 10 rebounds to lead Saint Vincent (4-1, 1-0 PAC). Courtney Zitt had 14 points and 11 rebounds; Katie Hughes (Cardinal Mooney) had 13 points and 10 rebounds, and Emily Dolsak (McDonald) finished with 11 points and 11 rebounds For the Titans (0-5, 0-1).

Kelly Muffley led Thiel (0-6, 0-1 PAC) with 12 points, while Ashley Davis added 10 points and five rebounds. Kelly Barzak (Howland) finished with eight points and nine rebounds.
