North Carolina couple plan rite in New Middletown

The parents of Keri McIntyre of Charlotte, N.C., are announcing the engagement of their daughter to Robert Kingston, also of Charlotte.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Lester McIntyre of New Middletown and Lori McIntyre of Canfield. The prospective groom is the son of Robert and Lori Kingston of Columbus.

Invitations will be issued for the couple’s Aug. 4, 2012, wedding at Zion Lutheran Church in New Middletown, and for an evening reception at Avion On the Water in Canfield.

Miss McIntyre graduated from Youngstown State University with a degree in elementary education. She is a teacher with Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools in Charlotte.

Mr. Kingston graduated from Wittenberg University with a degree in political science. He is an operations manager at Apex Transportation in Charlotte.
