Disney’s “Mulan,SDRq New Castle Playhouse Augustine Auditorium, New Castle, Pa. Auditions are 6 to 8 p.m. Dec. 11 and 12 for youths age 8 to 18. Be prepared to sing a one-minute vocal selection of your choice. You may sing a cappella or use an accompaniment CD (no vocal tracks). It is strongly encouraged to choose a Disney tune or Broadway tune as an audition piece. You may be asked to do a reading from the script. Many males are needed as warriors and huns. “The Altos,SDRq Trumbull New Theatre, 5883 Youngstown- Warren Road, Niles. Auditions are from 2 to 4 p.m. Dec. 11 and 6 to 7 p.m. Dec. 12. The interactive comedy, directed by Terri Gilbert, requires six men of varying ages, three females including one 65-years-plus, and several extras for a possible choir and “mob” figures. Glory of Shekinah Productions will conduct open auditions at 6:30 p.m. Friday at 624 Oak St., Youngstown. Actors, singers, musicians and others with entertainment talent are needed for four Gospel plays: “Busted & Disgusted,” ”Is It Really My Closet?” “Listen to Your Calling Before It’s Too Late” and a live taping of ”Who Will Wipe My Tears Away?” to be sold as a DVD and for television. 330-330-4003.
