AUSTINTOWN

Keanu Shelton had both goals for Fitch while senior Brad Fields had the lone goal for Howland (1-1). Connor Gilmour, also a senior, had the assist on Fields’ tally. Fields scored first, then Shelton tied the game, 1-1, in the closing minutes of the first half. Shelton snapped the deadlock just 1:30 into the second half. Fitch goalie Nick Sheely had seven saves, while Kurt Kuszmaul had six stops for Howland. JVs: 1-1.

Lakeview 5, Newton Falls 1

CORTLAND

After staying within 2-1, Newton Falls fell behind when the Bulldogs when on to score three more goals in the second half. Louie Novakovich scored twice for Lakeview, while Joey Wilson, Matt Pasternak and A.J. Miller had single goals. Wilson had three assists for the winners, while Jacob Colbrunn and Colton Ainsley had an assist apiece. With Ryan Buchanan assisting, Cody Peterson had Newton Falls’ lone point. Newton Falls goalie Joe Spletzer had 10 saves, while Lakeview’s Alex Rosowicz had two stops.

Badger 3, Warren Harding 2

KINSMAN

Rich Roscoe, Allen Wiley and Mitchell Givens scored for Badger (3-0-1), while Ben Meardith had an assist and Jared Meikle had five saves. Dominic Milano-Jones and Ja’lyn Smith scored for Harding (1-3), while Micah Tatebe had two assists and Steven Wilson made seven saves. JVs: Badger 2-1.

BRISTOLVILLE

Bristol (2-1, 2-1 NAC) led at halftime, 3-0, before pouring on six more goals in the final 40 minutes. Austin Rimer scored three goals, while Trevor Rowles, Michael Young, Coty Black, Dylan Rimer, Chad Oliver and Jake Carrino had one goal each. Austin Rimer, Dylan Rimer and Chad Oliver had an assist apiece. Bristol goalie Lucas Chapman had three saves.

Carrollton 3, West Branch 2

BELOIT

Dylan McLean had all three goals for Carrollton (1-1, 1-0 NBC) while Austen Rekolt and Matt Latham had the goals for West Branch (1-3, 0-1 NBC). Carrollton’s Ben Knotts had an assist, while Rekolt and Cody Criss had an assist apiece for the Warriors. West Branch goalie Zack Minich had six saves and Austin Bregenzer had four stops for Carrollton.
