Luke Marsico and Christian Silvestri scored for the Spartans (2-1, 1-0 Federal League). Matt Horvatich had an assist and goaltender Anthony Calautti made five saves. For Hoover (2-1, 0-1), Mark Caldwell scored and Greg Irvin made six saves.

NORTH LIMA

Jordan Baker and Andy Lacefield scored three goals each, and Baker had two assists for the Raiders (2-0). Tyler Ausnehmer added two goals and an assists, and Andrew O’Leary had a goal. Aaron Beabout had two assists and Isaac Schuster had five saves.

GIRLS

Warren JFK 3, Ursuline 0

YOUNGSTOWN

Mora Lucero, Nicole Rodomsky and Natalie Hoso scored goals for JFK. Briana Curd led the Irish with 11 saves.

Howland 4, Hubbard 0

HOWLAND

Olivia Nicholas scored three goals, and Seyla Perez added a goal and an assist for Howland (2-0). Allissa Grimaldi, Jenna Dorchoch and Erika Nites added assists for the Tigers, who outshot Hubbard 16-0. Alex Jennings had 12 saves for Hubbard (1-2).

LaBrae 2, Struthers 0

STRUTHERS

Gabby Borawiec scored both goals to lead LaBrae. Struthers’ Katie Jordan made six saves.

Poland 1, Niles 0

POLAND

Madison Brooker scored the only goal on an assist by Erin Gabriel for Poland (4-0). The Bulldogs held a 9-1 advantage in shots. Emily Estes had eight saves for Niles (1-2).

NEWTON FALLS

Abby Pavlik scored two goals, Ally Pavlik had one and Lindsey Clark had one for Lakeview (3-0). Elaine Moldovan made three saves. Stephanie Nussle made 12 saves for Newton Falls (2-1).

COLUMBIANA

Tristan Huff and Alexa Roberts each had two goals and two assists for Crestview (2-2). Annie Hardenbrook and Liz Hopper also scored and Nicole Richey had an assist. Megan Foster made three saves and Dana Drinnen had four. Peyton Schinabl scored for YCS.

HANOVERTON

Lexy Zubick and Jerrica Massey both scored two goals for Springfield (2-1) while Alyssa Casto, Jaclyn Tabaka and Andrea Zubick all had one. Hailey Sullivan, Jillian Tabaka and Audrey Schoenike had assists. Jillian Tabaka and Malarie Noble combined for 11 saves. Emily Guappone scored twice for United, while Mackenzie Gatchel and Cassidy Yoder had one each.

South Range 6, Columbiana 1

COLUMBIANA

Junior Toni Stephenson scored three goals and freshman Kendall Lindstrom had two for South Range. Senior Hannah Wiery scored the Raiders’ other goal. Senior Ellen Downie, senior Katie McCormick and junior Rachel Coler had assists and senior Kristin Robinson had four saves. For Columbiana, Kayla Proya scored and Tori Drago had 12 saves.

KINSMAN

Jennilyn Krumpe scored two goals, while Angelique Armstrong, Olivia Vanscoy, Sarah Bonar and Holly Master all had one. Masters also had three assists, while Krumpe, Vanscoy and Samantha Greathouse each had one. Izabella Armstrong had eight saves for the Braves (2-1). Breanna Nelson had 15 saves for Conneaut.
