60th anniversary marked by dinner, Mass for Howleys

Mr. and Mrs. Thomas A. Howley of Poland marked their 60th wedding anniversary with a Mass and renewal of their vows June 26 at St. Charles Church, Boardman, celebrated by the Rev. Philip Rodgers.

A family dinner followed at The Youngstown Club, hosted by their children, Kathi and Bob Sullivan of Lewisville, Texas, John and Melinda Howley of Columbiana, Eileen (Mackin) and Bob Dorinski of Coon Rapids, Minn., and Ken and Laurie Howley of Canfield. Nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren complete the family.

Mr. Howley and the former Sally Ann Carney were married June 23, 1951, in St. Edward Church, Youngstown. Mr. Howley retired from Commercial Intertech in 1991 after 32 years of service. He served with the Navy in the South Pacific during World War II. Mrs. Howley is a homemaker.
