For September Snapz, show us your “Really Great Grandparents”

A question for you before we tell you about our September Snapz feature ...

Did you know the first Sunday after Labor Day each year is National Grandparents Day? This year it is Sept. 11.

Fact is, in 1978 September was set aside as the month to honor grandparents, signifying their “autumn years of life."

So let’s do exactly that. Honor your grandparent(s) by submitting their picture to our “Really Great Grandparents” feature.

We’ll publish a few of the ones we receive in our Sept. 4 edition, and they’ll all be posted on our website.

E-mail a large jpeg file to society@vindy.com or mail your picture to Snapz, The Vindicator, P.O. Box 780, Youngstown, OH 44501. Include the names and cities of residence of everyone in the picture.

The deadline is Wednesday.
