Aug. 16

Drugs, Paraphernalia: Carlton Brawley Jr., 49, of 5131 S. Salem-Warren Road, No. 3, North Jackson, was arrested on charges of drug abuse and drug paraphernalia after police found a pipe with marijuana residue and 6.5 grams of marijuana.

Aug. 17

Possible stolen bicycle: A girl’s Schwinn 7-gear bicycle was reported missing at Canfield High School, 100 Cardinal Drive. A Timber Run Court resident reported the bike had been parked overnight at the school and was missing.

Aug. 19

Telecommunications harassment: A resident in the 200 block of Fairground Blvd. reported receiving harassing voice mail from an individual who disguised a voice.

Aug. 15

Criminal trespassing: Daniel G. Morris,45, of 142 S. Osborn, Youngstown was arrested for criminal trespassing at Econo-Lodge, 5431 Seventy-Six Drive.

Barking dog: Shannon Nesbitt,39, of 4174 Claridge Drive was issued a summons for a barking dog.

Theft: An Ohio temporary tag was stolen from an auto at a home in the 3000 block of Mahoning Ave.

Domestic violence: John Aeppli, 26, of 452 S. Raccoon Road, Apt. 3 was arrested on a domestic violence charge on Boardman-Canfield Road.

Theft: Jason Ostavitz, 18, of 3822 Frederick St. was arrested for theft of an earring, jewelry accessories and condoms at Wal-Mart, 6001 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: A briefcase was stolen from a vehicle at Wal-Mart.

Aggravated menacing: A threat was made on Facebook at a home in the 2000 block of Westminister Ave.

Disorderly conduct: Fernando Guterrez, 50, of 4493 Mahoning Ave. was arrested for disorderly conduct at Mahoning Avenue and N. Beverly Avenue.

Criminal damaging: A vehicle window was damaged at a home in the 5000 block of Colgate Drive.

Criminal mischief: Flowers were thrown from a grave at Resurrection Cemetery, 300 N. Raccoon Road.

Bad checks: Two checks for $3,300 were reported at a home in the 6000 block of Ridgeview Drive.

Theft: Dawn Neeld, 32, of 4528 Washington Square Drive was issued a summons for theft at Giant Eagle, 5220 Mahoning Ave. for stealing $66.69 worth of groceries.

Fraud: Personal information was used to make purchases on-line at a home in the 2000 block of Oaktrace Drive.

Animal complaint: Loose dogs caused a cat to be killed at a home in the 200 block of Parkgate Avenue.

Theft: A woman was soliciting for the Muscular Dystrophy Association with no documentation at a home in the 5000 block of Yorktown Lane.

Assault: A juvenile was shot by a BB gun by an unknown male at a home in the 3000 block of Elmwood Avenue.

Intimidation: The wife is accused of driving by the victim’s house in the 1000 block of Fountain Square Drive.

Theft: A couple walked out on a $130 food bill at Winston’s Tavern, 870 N. Canfield-Niles Road.

Menacing: A female was threatened by her boyfriend at New Road and state Route 46.

Aug. 17

Theft: A man’s wallet and contents were taken at a home in the 4000 block of New Road.

Theft: A cell phone was stolen at Home Depot, 6100 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: Woman’s clothing was stolen from a home in the 200 block of N. Edgehill Ave.

Theft: A purse with contents were stolen at the Austintown Library, 600 S. Raccoon Road.

Theft: A Sony Playstation, and a debit card, with money removed from the account were reported stolen at an apartment in the 4000 block of Westchester Drive.

Disorderly conduct: Harry Ferrante,Jr., 35, of 3729 South Ave., Youngstown was issued a summons for disorderly conduct at Marc’s, 4755 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: $20 was taken from Certified Oil, 825 N. Canfield-Niles Road.

Disorderly conduct: Kimberly Stucky, 35, of 323 Whipple Ave., Campbell was issued a summons for disorderly conduct at Bill’s Place, 4771 Mahoning Ave.

Criminal damaging: Windows were broken out at Lynn Kirk Elementary School, 4211 Evelyn Road.

Theft: $50.62 in fuel was taken at Country Fair, 1143 Niles-Canfield Road.

Theft: Money was taken at a home in the 50 block of Westchester Drive.

Theft: A wallet was stolen and later recovered at Chase Bank, 4243 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: A male suspect short-changed a cashier at Perkins, 5550 Interstate Blvd.

Theft: Tools were stolen from a home in the 4000 block of Westmont Drive.

Theft: Clothing was stolen at Dollar General, 1739 S. Raccoon Road.

Aggravated menacing: A man threatened a clerk at Get-Go, 5163 Mahoning Ave.

Telecommunications harassment: Harassment was reported at a home in the 4000 block of Belle Ave.

Criminal damaging:A vehicle tire was damaged at a home in the 4000 block of Westchester Drive.

Lost or stolen: A wallet was reported lost or stolen at an unknown location.

Fraud: Credit card fraud was reported at Cracker Barrel, 5600 Interstate Blvd.

Theft: A service was performed but no payment was made at Luxury Nails, 5880 Mahoning Ave.

Criminal trespassing: Todd Setree, 38, homeless, was arrested for trespassing at a home in the 3000 block of Frederick Street.

Theft: A female stole money and credit cards at an apartment in the 100 block of Westchester Drive.

Aug. 20

Assault: An assault was reported at a home in the 100 block of S. Four Mile Run Road.

Disturbance: A victim was taken to the hospital after being stricken by an unknown male in the 3000 block of Oakwood Ave.

Criminal damaging: A vehicle window was damaged at a home in the 4000 block of Washington Square Drive.

Aug. 21

Obstructing official business: Alan Dean, 35, of 231 Hilton Ave., Youngstown and Tamara Bright, 25, of 755 Mauro Circle, Apt. 2, Warren were both arrested for obstructing official business at Bill’s Place, 4755 Mahoning Ave.

Drug offense: Nathan Hamilton,28, of 427 Oak Hill Aly, McKees Rocks, Pa. was issued a summons for possession of marijuana in the 1000 block of Compass West.

Telecommunications harassment: An unknown female caller was making harassing calls at a home in the 1000 block of Moorefield Ave.

Theft: Cecilia Catrone, 67 and Ronald Catrone, 69, both of 3041/2 Idlewood Drive, Youngstown were both issued summons for theft at Giant Eagle, 5220 Mahoning Ave. for taking Pepsi, cheese and bacon.

Burglary: A cable box and phone jacks were stolen at an apartment in the 4000 block of S. Raccoon Road.

Theft: A seat and steering wheel cover were taken from a vehicle, which was also scratched at a home in the 4000 block of Deer Creek Drive.

Telecommunications harassment: A suspect made harassing calls to Countryside Drive Thru, 888 N. Meridian Road.

Warrant: Tara Stewart, 21, of 455 Spring St., Struthers was arrested on a warrant for probation violation on a theft charge at the TA Travel Center, 5700 Seventy-Six Drive.Police also charged her with possession of drug paraphernalia and drug instruments.

Criminal trespassing: Joshua Darley, 18, of 113 S. Roanoke Ave., was arrested for trespassing in the 900 block of Compass West.

Theft: An xBox and a Wii were stolen from a home in the 100 block of N. Raccoon Road.
