Jenna Jacobs to vie for national title

Jenna Jacobs, daughter of John and Cathryn Jacobs of Poland, will compete in the 2011 National American Miss Junior Teen Pageant at Disneyland in Anaheim, Calif., during Thanksgiving week, Nov. 20.

Jenna, a freshman at Cardinal Mooney High School, captured the Ohio title in July and will compete for a share of more than $500,000 in cash and prizes at the national level.

She also holds the state equestrian title of top Hunter Under Saddle and competes in softball, volleyball and tennis.

This year, the top door prize at the national pageant is a 2011 Ford Mustang convertible.
