Greenford Ruritans to serve at the fair

The Greenford Ruritan Club will have its annual chicken barbecue at the Canfield Fair, in the Ruritan Building on Boardman Drive, west of the grandstand.

Serving will begin at 7:30 a.m. daily for a full complement of breakfast items, and barbecued chicken and an assortment of sandwiches will be served for lunch and dinner every day of the fair.

The fair begins Wednesday and runs through Labor Day, Sept. 5.

The club has been serving barbecued chicken at the fair for nearly 45 years, and all the proceeds go toward funding of community projects in Green Township.
