Here are area band nights as submitted to The Vindicator:

Saturday: Mineral Ridge High School Marching Band will host its 10th annual “Show of Bands” at 7 p.m. Saturday at Joe Lane Sports Complex in Mineral Ridge. It will feature Mathews, Niles, Jackson-Milton, Lowellville, Girard and Mineral Ridge bands. Tickets are $6 for adults and $4 for students and senior citizens. Children 5 and under are free.

Monday: The 40th annual Austintown Fitch Band Night is Monday at 7 p.m. at Fitch Stadium. Tickets are available at the gate for $5 for adults and $3 for students. Senior citizens’ admission is free. Performing bands are Jackson- Milton, Ursuline, Canfield, Boardman and Fitch.

Tuesday: Six local high school marching bands will perform at the Canfield High School stadium in the 37th annual Show of Bands at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday. The bands are Canfield, Boardman, Poland, Austintown Fitch, Struthers and West Branch. “We’re excited about this night of marching-band music from some of the region’s best high-school bands,” said Michael L. Kelly Jr., director of bands at Canfield High. “Fans that are used to hearing just a few band tunes during a halftime show will be very pleased to enjoy an evening of band music and choreography.” Admission to the event is $5 for adults and $3 for seniors (62 and over) and students. Children 5 years and younger will be admitted free.

Sept. 12: Director Donald Opsitnik and Assistant Director Amy Warner with the Girard Band Boosters present the Girard High School Marching Band’s tribute to “Past, Present and Future” at their second annual band night at 7 p.m. Sept. 12 in Arrowhead Stadium, Ward Avenue, Girard. Gates open at 6 p.m. Berlin Center Western Reserve, Brookfield, Mineral Ridge, South Range and Ursuline bands will perform with Girard. Admission is $5 per person, $3 for senior citizens. Concessions will be available. Rain date is Sept. 13.
