Struthers car cruise to help victim of ALS

First Christian Church in Girard and C’s Waffles in Struthers are sponsoring a car cruise to benefit Tom Pustay, a member of the church, who suffers from ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease.

The event is scheduled for 4 to 8 p.m. Sept. 15 at C’s Waffles, 704 Youngstown-Poland Road, Struthers. In case of rain, the fundraiser will take place Sept. 22.

There is a $5 registration fee. Any donation is appreciated and will help with Pustay’s medical expenses. To register, call C’s Waffles at 330-750-0780.

Among the attractions featured will be a 50-50 raffle, a bake sale, a food sale, a gift basket auction, and a cornhole tournament.
