Lions install board, honor member

Youngstown Lions Club recently presented Jerry Bryan with the prestigious Melvin E. Jones award — one of the highest a Lion can receive — for outstanding service to the club.

YOUNGSTOWN

The Youngstown Lions Club installed its new board members during the 92nd annual installation of officers Aug. 4 at the Youngstown Club.

New members are Jerry Bryan, Bill Cooper, Nancy Cuffle, Roger Guglucello, Doug Lewis, Parker McHenry, Jack Prest, Bryan Reed and Pete Storey.

Officers for 2011 are Brian Hughes, president; Bill Ruggles, first vice president; Mike Hermes, second vice president; Jenn Priesse, third vice president; Diane Hardenbrook, treasurer; and John Getchey, secretary.

Bryan was presented with the prestigious Melvin E. Jones award — one of the highest a Lion can receive — for outstanding service to the club.
