Mortensen cancels lecture at Packard

WARREN

Greg Mortensen of the Central Asia Institute has canceled his appearance in the Trumbull Town Hall lecture series. His Sept. 21 lecture slot will now be filled by Dr. Jo-Ellan Dimitrius, president of Dimitrius & Associates, a full-service trial consulting firm based in California that consulted in the recent Casey Anthony trial. Dr. Dimitrius will speak at 10:30 a.m. Sept. 21 at W.D. Packard Music Hall, 1703 Mahoning Ave. NW. Tickets are $25; call 330-373-1900. Tickets may also be purchased at the door.

Dr. Dimitrius has evaluated more than 10,000 jurors, witnesses, lawyers and even judges during trial. Her ability to understand and predict the behavior of jurors, witnesses, lawyers and judges led to her being nicknamed “The Seer” by American Lawyer magazine. Her talk will focus on cases and also what can be learned about people by observation.
