Crews to fix Shady Run sinkhole

A large sinkhole that developed at the end of Shady Run Road on Sunday afternoon caused a brief gas leak.

Officials said the sinkhole pulled a gas tap away from a house, causing Dominion to shut off gas to nearby residents.

Youngstown officials said late Sunday that crews coming from Calcutta will try to fix the sinkhole as soon as possible.
