Covered bridge tour for animal league run

Animal Welfare League’s 7th annual Charity Motorcycle Run, a tour of Ashtabula County’s covered bridges, will take place at noon Aug. 28 at Garden Brook Banquet Center, 4820 state Route 5 NE. Registration is from 10:30 a.m. to noon. Cost is $15 per rider, $10 per passenger.

Continental breakfast and dinner will be served, a basket auction will take place, and door prizes and a 50/50 raffle will be awarded.

The ride will end at Garden Brook, with the last bike in at 4 p.m. For more information, call 330-394-3512. All proceeds benefit Animal Welfare League’s work for abused, neglected, abandoned and stray animals.
