“Community Connection” (7 a.m. Sunday on 21 WFMJ-TV; and 10 a.m. Tuesday on Time Warner Cable community access channel): The Ohio treasurer’s office will present “Smart Money Choices,” a free personal financial planning conference series for all Ohioans. Director of Communications and Community Education Angela M. Hawkins will join host Madonna Chism Pinkard to discuss the conference and the registration process. The event includes an opening session, four breakout sessions taught by financial planning experts and lunch.

“Increase the Peace” (6:30 p.m. Saturday and 9 a.m. Sunday on MyYTV): Host Andrea Mahone will be joined by Amber Monroe, a Tuskeegee veterinarian student who stumbled into Opera. Monroe will share her story and perform.

Also, Suzanne Barbati and Kelly Bucci will talk about the new “Oh Wow!” Roger and Gloria Jones Children’s Museum for Science and Technology in Youngstown.

The Ohio Coin Extravaganza will be Aug. 26-28 at the Days Inn, 4742 Brecksville Road. Hours are noon to 6 p.m. Aug. 26; 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Aug. 27; and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Aug. 28. Admission is $4. An early badge can be bought for $20, which permits the bearer to enter at 8 a.m., before the public.
