Progressive Field in Cleveland was the setting Oct. 16, 2010, for the marriage of Megan Phillips and Nicholas Weisheipl, both of University Heights, Ohio.

The daughter of John and Margaret Phillips of Hartford, Ohio, and son of David and Colleen Weisheipl of Altoona, Wis., exchanged vows before Judge Joseph Zone. A reception followed at Normandy Party Center in Wickliffe, Ohio, before the newlyweds left for a honeymoon in Italy and Germany.

The bride was attended by Ashley Kreutzer as matron of honor; bridesmaids Kendra Sheasley; her cousins, Christy Reiser and Lindsey Mizicko; her sister-in-law, Heide Phillips; and the groom’s sisters, Jessica Stewart and Melissa Weisheipl; and flower girl Ella Stewart, the groom’s niece.

Kyle Payne served as best man; groomsmen were Thom File; Erik Torkelson; Eric Frese; the bride’s brother, Todd Phillips; the groom’s brother-in-law, Ryan Stewart; and his future brother-in-law, Joe Shine; ushers were his cousin, Neal Dover, and the bride’s cousin, Ken Mizicko; and ring bearer was Keegan Sprang.

The bride is assistant manager for Reliance First Capital in Independence, Ohio, after attending Drexel University.

The groom is head baseball coach at Notre Dame College in South Euclid, Ohio, after attending Beloit College.

The couple are making their home in University Heights.
