The Embassy was the setting July 16 for a reception honoring newlyweds Andrew H. Jarosz and the former Amber DeMoss, both of Scottsdale, Ariz., who exchanged wedding vows June 25 at Scottsdale Bible Church Chapel.

The late afternoon ceremony was performed by Pat Sullivan, and a reception followed at McCormick Ranch in Scottsdale.

Afterward the newlyweds left for a honeymoon on St. Thomas in the U.S. Virgin Islands.

The bride is a daughter of Mike and Karen DeMoss of Scottsdale.

The groom is the son of Andrew and Karen Jarosz of Boardman.

The bride is a resource teacher for Paradise Valley Unified School District in Scottsdale after earning a bachelor’s degree in elementary education at Southwestern College.

The groom is a teacher at Scottsdale Community College after earning a bachelor’s degree in English from Bowling Green State University and graduating cum laude from Ohio State University with a master’s in education.

The bride’s white A-line gown had a chiffon overlay and was encrusted with beads and crystals.

She was attended by her sister, Kristen Dearing, as maid of honor; bridesmaids Julie Goss, Arlene Moe, Jennifer Mascitello, Rosemary Johnson and Erin Truemper; and flower girl Jessica Goss. All wore gowns of cornflower and periwinkle.

Jason J. Jarosz was his brother’s best man, and groomsmen were Jonathan Pallay, Brad Paden, Johe Wenzel, Robert Occhipinti and Tim Dearing, the bride’s brother-in-law. Ushers were Janet Ravotti and Joel Goss, and ring bearer was Jordyn Goss.

Also participating were Holly Mitchell, April Hederman, Mary Chalkley, the bride’s cousin, and Karen Jarosz, the groom’s sister-in-law.
