A Mahoning County grand jury indicted three Brooklyn Avenue women on felony charges pertaining to a July 24 confrontation in what police said was a feud with three other women.

Two of the defendants indicted Thursday, Rayshawnda Clark, 20, and her mother, Shalena Clark, 38, are charged with two counts of attempted murder for assaults they purportedly committed against two women.

The Clarks also are charged with three counts of felonious assault, alleging they used a variety of weapons against three women, including a firearm, scissors, a table leg and pots and pans. All charges against the Clarks carry firearm specifications.

Darlesha Jones, 19, is charged with felonious assault for reportedly hitting a woman with pots and pans.

Each attempted- murder count carries three to 10 years in prison upon conviction.

Each felonious-assault count carries a possible two-to-eight-year prison term upon conviction.

Conviction on any of the firearm specifications would add a mandatory consecutive three years to any prison term for any offense to which they are attached.

The grand jury also indicted George D. DeLong, 40, of Mars, Pa., on three counts of unlawful sexual conduct with a minor — a 15-year-old Beaver Township girl he met on the Internet and then in person, with the alleged offenses occurring between July 4 and Aug. 8.

Each count carries a possible one to five years in prison upon conviction.

Delong was arrested in North Lima last week by Beaver Township police.
