Township police continue to investigate six weekend incidents of thefts from cars.

Residents on Southwind Trail, Weathered Wood Trail, Park Place, North Carolina Place and Clingan Road reported GPS units, digital music players and gift cards missing, among other items, between Sunday night and Monday morning, according to reports.

Police Chief Brian Goodin said he believes the thefts are related and reminded residents to use common sense.

“Lock your car doors, and take your valuables out of the car,” he said. Goodin said the cars were unlocked and parked in driveways.
